Arab Horse Society showcase an amazing, not-to-be-missed, Arabian Performance Horse Parade at Palace House Newmarket on Saturday 28 April 2018

As part of this year’s Arab Horse Society’s Centenary celebrations, AHS members with winners in all ridden disciplines will take part in a parade of leading Arabian Performance Horses on Saturday 28 April 2018 at 2.30pm.

Taking place in the Sir Peter O’Sullevan Arena at the Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) Yard, which forms part of the National Heritage Centre for Horseracing and Sporting Art at Palace House, Newmarket, this once-in-a-century event is generously sponsored by AHS Patron, HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid al Maktoum.

Leading the parade will be one of His Highness’s race winners from Shadwell Stud followed by show jumpers, eventers (including Tomatillo, the clone of Tamarillo), endurance horses, dressage winners, Premium Performance stallions, World Arab Horse trophy winners, and Horse of the Year Show Ridden Champions.

The Arab Horse Society is very grateful to Sue Molloy and the RoR team for allowing horses with Arabian blood to invade the sacred bastion of the English Thoroughbred. But then, the Arabian is at the heart of every racehorse pedigree!

Anne Brown of the Arab Horse Society commented: “The Arab Horse Society is very grateful to Sue Molloy and the RoR team for allowing horses with Arabian blood to invade the sacred bastion of the English Thoroughbred. But then, the Arabian is at the heart of every racehorse pedigree!”

Chris Garibaldi, Director at Palace House added: “We are delighted to form part of the Arab Horse Society’s Centenary celebrations and are really looking forward to the parade which certainly complements the fascinating exhibition which is currently running here in the museum.

Admission to the parade at Palace House also includes entry to the special Arabian horse exhibition: “From the Desert to the World” (open until 13 July) and all the other galleries of the National Heritage Centre.

The accompanying Arab Horse Society “Centenary” book is also on sale in the Palace House shop
