Book of Condolence for the people of Manchester

23rd May 2017

Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Manchester – for the victims of the attack at the Manchester Arena last night and for their families.

In consultation with the Mayor of Newmarket, Cllr Andy Drummond, we have condelence-book-2opened a Book of Condolence which is situated in the main reception area in the central Atrium of The National Heritage Centre for Horseracing and Sporting Art in Palace Street, Newmarket. Given the terrible events of last night, we felt it was important to give people an opportunity to record their thoughts, feelings and condolences and as a cultural hub in the centre of the town, the National Heritage Centre seemed the appropriate setting. The book is available in our non-ticketed area every day from 10am to 5pm and will remain in place for the next few weeks.
