Thinking of things to do over the Easter Holidays? Why not come and visit Suffolk’s latest attraction at the National Heritage Centre in Newmarket?
Hop around the five acre site to find the clues that will help you complete our new Palace House Bingo. When you have found all the clues, hand them in to
reception to win a chocolate Easter egg! Available from 31st March – 18th April, this is included in your ticket. We will be open 10am – 5pm daily including Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. There is so much to see and do to keep the whole family occupied at the National Heritage Centre, including a new way of exploring the galleries with our multi-media guide.
Make the most of Spring and watch the Retraining of Racehorses displays in the outdoor Peter O’Sullevan Arena, or spend time in the Rothschild Yard and meet the beautiful racehorses.
Enjoy exploring the Fred Packard Galleries of British Sporting Art which house a collection of all sports from 17th – 21st century. This is displayed in the Palace that was built for Charles II.
Discover what makes a racehorse such an amazing athlete in our exciting new
galleries in the Museum. Have a go at our interactive game to try breeding a Champion Racehorse! Compare your anatomy to that of a horse: do you have
any similar bones?
You can’t leave without having a go on our famous Racehorse Simulator where you can test your skill as a jockey!
The Tack Room restaurant in King's Yard is the perfect place to take a break. Locally sourced and home cooked children’s menu, specials, vegetarian and gluten-free options are available as well as mouth-watering cakes and biscuits making it a great place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. Alternatively, if you are in a hurry to carry on exploring, you can buy delicious sandwiches, scones, sausage rolls and many more goodies-to-go, from the onsite Pantry Bakery.
