Born in 1893, by the age of sixteen Frank Wootton was 'riding like a veteran'. His earned income was already exceeding that of a Cabinet Minister and he became champion jockey of the year: an outstanding achievement for one so young. In the year of publication he won the Oaks, to be followed by the St. Leger the following year.

All prints are 26 x 40 cm and supplied unframed and un-mounted. They are antique chromolithographs and come with a certificate of authenticity.
